Guy Thompson Appointed General Manager Of The Johnstown Estate
The Johnstown Estate in Enfield, Co Meath, is delighted to announce the appointment of Guy Thompson as General Manager.
In his new position as General Manager, Guy will oversee all operations at the estate, focusing on delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving the continued financial success of the four-star hotel and spa.
With over thirty years of experience in the hospitality industry, Guy brings a wealth of knowledge and drive to the role. He served as General Manager of Castleknock Hotel for fourteen years and later took on the position of Hotel Director for both Castleknock Hotel and Killashee Hotel following FBD’s acquisition of Killashee Hotel in 2022. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at The Temple Bar Hotel and The Central Hotel & Fadó Restaurant.
Commenting on his appointment, Guy said, ” I am thrilled to join The Johnstown Estate during such an exciting time. The hotel has significantly expanded its offering with the recent opening of a new garden terrace bar, Parterre, and its brand new state-of-the-art conference centre, The Forde Suites.
