The iNUA Collection X Down Syndrome Ireland 5 Year Anniversary
The iNUA Hotel Collection recently celebrated their 5 Year Anniversary with our charity partners Down Syndrome Ireland. We celebrated this milestone On June 26th at Dublin One Hotel, and proudly presented 25 colleagues with recognition of service awards. These awards ranged from new starters to 16 years of service. Thank you to Aoife Gaffney, Head of Employment at Down Syndrome Ireland, who in creating the National Employment Programme, has made it possible for the iNUA Hotel Collection to have such incredible adults on our team.
Madina Zikare, People & Culture Manager Muckross Park Hotel and Spa mentioned, “It means the world to us since we linked with the Kerry Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland on the National Employment Programme. Our DSI colleague Yann, is working in the concierge team since 2022 and since the day he arrived to Muckross Park Hotel & Spa Killarney, we have not stopped smiling.”
Here at The iNUA Hotel Collection we are proud to support Down Syndrome Ireland as our Group Charity Partner. This partnership has been in place for the past five years and we look forward to continuing this wonderful work. We are proud to have raised over €120,000 for DSI to date. This is entirely due to the generosity of our colleagues, guests, and the support of the Down Syndrome Ireland team.
The iNUA Hotel Collection continues to support Down Syndrome Ireland by providing vital support to 3,500 members in 25 branches across Ireland. We are proud to be supporting DSI’s National Speech and Language Therapy Programme helping give children from 6 months old the best possible start in life. The iNUA Hotel Collection have supported lifelong learning giving people with Down syndrome new opportunities to reach their potential. As well as creating meaningful employment for 25 people with Down syndrome, The iNUA Hotel Collection have supported 231 other people secure jobs throughout Ireland.

We look forward to growing our partnership and expanding employment opportunities in the future.”
