In a bid to revolutionise the standard amenities offered in hotels, Bunzl Rafferty is encouraging hotels to include sustainable period products as part of their room essentials. We are excited to announce our partnership with We Are Riley, a provider renowned for their commitment to eco-friendly period care. Their product line features 100% organic cotton applicator tampons and sanitary towels, both of which are free from toxins and chemicals. These products are thoughtfully designed with biodegradable wrappers, ensuring that every aspect of their use is kind to the environment.
Anything we can do to influence and assist change by advocating the inclusion of period products as standard amenities is a bonus for us. Bunzl Rafferty are leading the way in encouraging hotels to adopt sustainable and considerate practices, by having these products discreetly available in the room will be making a world of difference. Just as a forgotten toothbrush can be easily replaced, period products can be readily available for use. To allow our customers to make those eco-conscious choices we have some great developments to offer solutions for a plastic free future with PET 380/480ml dispenser bottles readily available and becoming an eco-friendlier solution without losing quality and luxury of smaller bottles. All our PET bottles are made from recycled plastic, which can be recycled again and again to reduce waste and remove single use within your rooms.
Our accessories range has been adapted to keep up with sustainability and we have replaced the OPS bag for slippers with paper band; Slippers are a perfect comfortable product you can take home and re-use.
All our textile microfibre ranges are made from recycled PET plastics and our covers are 100% natural cotton. We are delighted to be able to offer towels and bathrobes that meet the global recycle standards while maintaining comfort and luxury while respecting the environment using premium sustainable products.
Our most recent innovation is the introduction of Tetra Top water cartons. These plant-based cartons are 100% recyclable and 88% plant-based, resulting in a 74% reduction in CO2 footprint compared to a typical plastic bottle.
